Rebecca Sommer, AIA began their career in 2007 as a Junior Designer at Isgenuity LLC. Rebecca then joined Cannon Design in 2012 as an Associate, where they worked on healthcare design projects. Over the years, they progressively advanced within the company, holding the positions of Senior Associate and currently, Associate Vice President. Rebecca'sexpertise as an architect and urban designer has allowed their to contribute to all phases of design problem-solving, from pre-design and programming to construction documents. Rebecca's unique perspective enables their to address multiple challenges in projects, including site planning and clinical considerations.
Rebecca Sommer, AIA, pursued their education in the field of architecture and urban design. From 1999 to 2003, they attended Berwick Academy, an institution where they earned a high school diploma. Building upon this foundation, they enrolled at Washington University in St. Louis and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from 2003 to 2007. Continuing their studies at the same university, they pursued a Master of Architecture degree from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, during this period, Rebecca also completed a Master of Urban Design program. Rebecca'seducational journey has provided their with a comprehensive understanding of architecture and urban design principles.
