Rowena Silva Das

Rowena Silva Das has held various roles throughout their work experience. Rowena started their career as an Accounting Intern at Trojan TechGroup, where they maintained accounts receivable and payable functions and reconciled bank statements. Rowena also created procedure documents to standardize processes.

After their internship, Rowena joined Ecolab as a Receivables Officer. In this role, they were responsible for debt collection and achieved a high percentage of accounts within payment terms. Rowena also led projects to create standardized credit request forms and automated processes, resulting in time savings and lower errors. Rowena later transitioned to an Assistant Analyst role at Ecolab, where they produced sales reports, managed rebate accruals and payments, and supported the Finance Manager with reporting and commission calculations.

Rowena provided financial analysis and guidance to executives, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling. Rowena also liaised with the Advertising Director to ensure accurate commission calculations and manage revenue targets.

Following their time at Bauer Media Group, Rowena joined Are Media Pty Ltd as a Business Analyst in the Fashion and Food division. In this role, they provided support to the Publisher and Editors by creating accurate financial forecasts and budgets. Rowena also developed financial models and dashboards to provide clear insights into different scenarios.

Most recently, Rowena joined Canon Business Services ANZ as a Commercial Analyst. Rowena'sresponsibilities in this role include analyzing financial data, providing insights, and supporting decision-making processes.

Rowena Silva Das completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Management from The Australian National University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Jerudong International School from 2000 to 2010, although no specific degree or field of study information is provided for this period.
