Jason Mitchell

Jason Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Their most recent position was at Canopy, where they worked as a Group Product Manager and Mobile Lead, overseeing technical projects and mentoring other product managers. Prior to that, they held the role of Principal Product Manager and Mobile Lead at Canopy.

Before their time at Canopy, Jason was the owner of FeedTheHabit, a prominent outdoor gear blog with a strong online presence and a team of writers. Jason also worked as a Senior Product Manager at Jane.com, where they managed mobile apps and improved the deal submission workflow.

Jason has also held positions at DirectScale as a Director of Product, Ghostery, Inc. as a Director of Product Management, Moki as a Director of Marketing Systems and Product Management, and 1-800 CONTACTS as an Associate Director of eCommerce. Jason was also a partner at Gear.com and held roles at The Active Network and WingateWeb in product management and marketing.

Throughout their career, Jason has demonstrated expertise in product management, mobile app development, marketing systems, and eCommerce.

Jason Mitchell obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Marketing from Brigham Young University, completing their studies there from 1993 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® and a Certified ScrumMaster® from the Scrum Alliance in July 2018.
