Joshua Hougaard

Joshua Hougaard has a diverse work experience. In 2017, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at doTERRA International LLC. Following that, from 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Salesperson at Vivint Smart Home. Joshua then transitioned into the field of software development and took on the role of a Software Developer Mentor at Bottega from January 2019 to June 2019, where they provided one-on-one mentoring to code students. From September 2019 to October 2020, they worked as a Software Developer at InsideOut Development, contributing to front-end design and backend architecture. In 2020, Joshua joined XANT as a Frontend Engineer, working on new tools and products for high-end clients. In 2021, they moved on to Canopy, initially as a Frontend Engineer and later as a Senior Frontend Engineer, focusing on time and billing aspects of the cloud-based practice management platform. Additionally, in 2018, they also held the position of Lead Web Developer at Hogi Software, leading key development projects.

Joshua Hougaard has a diverse education history in the field of technology and business. In 2017, they attended Utah Valley University, where they studied Computer Science. Following that, in 2018, they completed a Full Stack Development Certificate program at Bottega Career Services. Currently, they are pursuing a degree in Business Administration/IT Management at Western Governors University, where they are expected to graduate in 2020.
