Jean-Paul Desmarais has over 25 years of work experience. Jean-Paul began their career in 1991 as a Customer Satisfaction Analyst with Mazda Canada Inc. In 1993, they became a Senior Sales Representative with Ahearn & Soper Inc | proVision WMS. In 1998, they joined HP Inc. as a Senior Marketing Manager, Enterprise and SMB Segments, where they developed and delivered go-to-market strategies and tactics for all LaserJet and multi-function printer (MFP) categories, into both SMB and Enterprise segments. Jean-Paul also acted as spokesperson to the Canadian media, determined value propositions and created integrated marketing campaigns. In addition, they were the Category Business Manager, Personal LaserJets, responsible for revenue and margin for HP’s desktop laser printer category, and managed the product lifecycle from launch planning through end-of-life. Jean-Paul also created demand generation programs and supporting marketing communication campaigns, and led cross-category “close the gap” action planning taskforces. In 2010, they joined Samsung Electronics as Manager, Enterprise and Channel Marketing. In 2015, they became Vice President, Sales and Marketing with Cantactix Solutions Inc.
Jean-Paul Desmarais obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1991, where they studied General Management and Marketing. In June 2020, they earned a Blue Yonder Accredited Functional Consultant certification from Blue Yonder.
