Marie Wallén Öhman

Marie Wallén Öhman has over 20 years of experience in the clinical and scientific research field. Marie began their career in 1996 as an Immunologist at Mejereierna Service AB. In 1998, they joined Active Biotech as a Research Scientist, where they were involved in the development of a monoclonal antibody approach for treatment of cancer and had formal responsibilities as project leader and section head. In 2004, they became a CRA at IRW Consulting AB, followed by a CRA role at TFS Trial Form Support in 2006. In 2007, they returned to Active Biotech as a Clinical Research Manager, where they managed phase I and II multicentre studies within the field of rheumatology. In 2013, they took on a CRA role at NORMA A/S, followed by a Clinical Research Manager role at McNeil AB in 2014. In 2017, they became the Clinical Development Manager at A1M Pharma AB, where they were responsible for the clinical program and managing the transition of the first company project into the clinical development phase. In 2019, they became the Owner of GoClinical Sweden AB, and in 2020, they took on the role of Senior Clinical Director at Cantargia AB.

Marie Wallén Öhman received their PhD in Immunotechnology from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University in 1996 and their MSc in Chemical Engineering from the same institution in 1982.
