Dale Cohen

Dale Cohen is a seasoned United Methodist pastor with extensive experience in leadership and education. Currently serving as Senior Pastor at First United Methodist Church of Florence, Alabama, since July 2018, and simultaneously as Senior Pastor at Canterbury United Methodist Church since June 2015, Dale Cohen has been actively involved in ministry since 1983. Notably, Dale has held significant roles such as Director of New Church Development and District Superintendent within the North Alabama Conference of the UMC. Additionally, Dale has contributed to higher education as an Adjunct Instructor at Huntingdon College, teaching various subjects related to theology and religious studies. Dale Cohen earned a Master of Divinity from Emory University-Candler School of Theology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Sociology from Birmingham-Southern College.
