Carlo Balmelli

Carlo Balmelli is an experienced Medical Doctor with a background in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Currently, Carlo serves as the Head of the Infection Control Program at Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale, where Carlo has held various senior positions over the years. Prior to this, Carlo worked at CHUV | Lausanne university hospital and UniversitätsSpital Zürich in roles related to hospital epidemiology and Infectious diseases. Carlo completed their medical education at University of Bern and has undertaken fellowships in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine.
