Steven McHugh

Steve McHugh is a Partner at Cantor Colburn LLP, where the practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, as well as technology transfer agreements and intellectual property portfolio management. With extensive technical expertise in fields such as electrical/electronic systems, nanotechnology, telecommunications, and medical instrumentation, Steve has held various legal positions, including Of Counsel at Tobin, Carberry, O'Malley, Riley & Selinger, P.C. and Owner of the Law Offices of Steven McHugh. Additionally, Steve has experience in academia as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law. Steve’s career in engineering included significant roles at Sikorsky Aircraft, Timex, and Dictaphone before transitioning to law, culminating in a Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
