Chris Miceli

Chris Miceli is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in various technology roles. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Canva since March 2022, Chris focuses on enhancing media experiences within the Media Platform team. Prior to this, Chris worked at Facebook for seven years, where contributions included development on the Graph API and various video-related services. Chris’s earlier roles include infrastructure engineering at Freelancer.com, where key systems such as real-time notifications and authentication were owned, as well as leadership in marketplace operations at Horseshoe Lane. Chris began the career as an IT Technician at Sanity. Chris holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering with Honours from the University of Sydney, earned between 2009 and 2012.
