Greg Roodt

Greg Roodt is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of Data Platforms at Canva since May 2017. In addition to this role, Greg has been a Technical Advisor and Co-Founder at AirHelp since April 2013. Prior freelance work as a Mobile Engineer included projects for various clients such as Strum and HSBC. Earlier career experiences include positions as Tech Lead for Moshi Monsters at Mind Candy, a Java Engineer at Yahoo!, and a Developer at Thomson Reuters. Greg also contributed as a Mentor at IncuBus Ventures from January 2015 to January 2017. Educational background includes a BSc in Computer Science from The Open University and a National Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Johannesburg, complemented by participation in Y Combinator in 2014.
