Su-Shing Chen

Su-Shing Chen is a Senior Software Engineer at Canva since September 2022, focusing on backend Java engineering and the maintenance of gateway services. Prior to this role, Su-Shing served as a Senior Software Engineer at Littlepay, where a promotion was awarded for exemplary performance in software quality and mentorship. Responsibilities included full stack development and interviewing. Su-Shing also contributed to Verizon Connect as an Acting Squad Lead, managing projects and applying Lean Kanban methodologies, while originally serving as a Software Engineer for mobile ELD compliance products. Early experience includes internships at Telogis and Allied Telesis, working on database systems and open-source projects. Su-Shing holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
