Alana Yoel

Alana Yoel has an extensive work experience spanning from 2005 to 2016. Alana began their career as a Marketing/Relations Intern at YRock on XPN in 2005. Alana then worked as a Research Assistant at the Infant Language and Learning Lab in 2008, followed by an Admission Assistant role at Carnegie Mellon University in 2009. That same year, Alana was a Lab Assistant at the Biorobotics Lab. In 2010, they took on an Intern role at Honeybee Robotics. In 2011, Alana was the Director of Technology and Co-founder at Agent of Presence, where they managed a team of EEs, product designers and leather artisans. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Mechanical Engineer at American Aerospace Airborne Systems and then a Manufacturing Engineer at Other Machine Company. From 2016 onwards, Alana has been a Senior Customer Operations Manager, Product Operations Manager, Senior Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at Canvas.

Alana Yoel attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in Cognitive Science.
