Ashvitha Shetty

Ashvitha Shetty is a skilled data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and predictive modeling. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Canvass AI since December 2021, Ashvitha has successfully developed and deployed an end-to-end machine learning solution using LightGBM for predicting water treatment plant efficiency and created an ensemble of models to enhance steel manufacturing processes. Prior to this role, Ashvitha worked at Deloitte India from July 2018 to November 2021, where data analysis was employed to optimize marketing strategies for a leading hospitality company using predictive models built with XGBoost and Random Forest. Ashvitha holds a Master’s degree in Geoinformatics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
