Kevin Van Leer

Kevin Van Leer has a diverse work experience in the field of client success, product management, and research. Kevin currently holds the position of Senior Director of Client Success at CAPE Analytics since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Client Success from February 2020 to July 2021. Before joining CAPE Analytics, Kevin worked at RMS as a Senior Product Manager from October 2015 to July 2018 and as a Product Manager from October 2014 to September 2015. Kevin also worked as a Risk Analyst at RMS from July 2013 to September 2014. Kevin's earlier experience includes being a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from May 2011 to May 2013 and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University from January 2011 to May 2011. Kevin has also completed a summer internship at Atmospheric and Environmental Research in 2010 and participated in the Undergraduate Leadership Workshop at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in the same year.

Kevin Van Leer has a strong educational background in Atmospheric Sciences. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Atmospheric Sciences from Purdue University, where they studied for four years from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they successfully completed between 2011 and 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Kevin achieved certification as a Certified Catastrophe Risk Analyst from RMS in March 2016.
