Melenni Balbach Esq.

Melenni Balbach, Esq. is an accomplished attorney currently working at Cape Fear Family Law since October 2022, with prior experience as an Associate Attorney at Cordell & Cordell from September 2021 to September 2022, focusing on domestic litigation. Melenni's legal education was completed at Elon University School of Law, where a Doctor of Law (JD) was earned in 2020. An extensive background includes an internship at the Office of the District Attorney for Bladen, Brunswick, and Columbus Counties, as well as a position as an MLK Jr. Fellow at Legal Aid of North Carolina. In addition, experience as an Administrative Assistant at Stephenson Law, LLP and an Administrative Assistant Intern at The Women's Resource Center highlights Melenni's diverse skill set. Melenni also facilitated workshops on gender equity and social justice at North Carolina State University while pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies.
