Mary Macgregor-Frew

With many years of experience in the corporate sector, her career spanning diverse industries from advertising to IT to mobile communications, Mary joined the CPO in 2014. Her most recent foray before joining the orchestra was into the world of politics where she was a key member of the start-up team for a new political party. While administration skills are universal, the fact that working in the music world which is new to her has made her job challenging and interesting. Apart from assisting with all aspects of the CPO’s funding requirements, she has learned how an orchestra operates behind the scenes, about orchestral instruments and musical pieces, and has gathered some critical insider knowledge on the valuable contribution that the CPO’s outreach and education programme makes to various communities.
