Peter Tong

Peter Tong has over 14 years of work experience in mechanical engineering. Peter started their career at NASA Ames Research Center in 2007, where they worked on various projects such as spacecraft, wind tunnel models, and ground support equipment. Their responsibilities included concept development, CAD, structural analysis, and manufacturing planning. In 2016, they joined Capella Space as a Mechanical Engineering Lead and later became the Senior Manager of the Mechanical Engineering Group. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Mechanical Engineering at Capella Space, overseeing R&D and production efforts for the current generation spacecraft and leading mechanical-related R&D tasks for next-gen designs.
