Barbara Brothers

Barbara Brothers has extensive experience in various leadership roles throughout their career. Barbara currently serves as the Business Engagement Director at Capital Area Workforce Development, where they connect businesses to resources and support for their talent and workforce needs. Prior to this, they were the Executive Director of Corporate & Business Solutions at Wake Technical Community College, focusing on developing customized training programs for businesses.

Barbara's past experience includes roles at Universal Technical Institute, where they were the VP-Campus Admissions and Regional Director Campus Admissions, leading admissions teams and generating significant revenue. Barbara also worked at Drexel Heritage as the VP-Retail Operations, overseeing store strategy and expansion, and at Kane Furniture as the VP-Store Operations, where they improved operations and customer service.

Throughout their career, Barbara has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive revenue, improve performance, and develop successful leaders within organizations.

Barbara Brothers holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University in the fields of Math and Classical Studies. Furthermore, they obtained a certification as a Certified Program Planner (CPP) from LERN in November 2017.
