Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical and firmware engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and hardware for educational technologies. With a tenure at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris Nicol has contributed to the design of DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previous roles include electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris Nicol designed and repaired educational tools, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, responsible for developing control systems for forestry equipment. Additionally, Chris Nicol served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting lab activities and assessments. Chris Nicol holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
