Kathy Vanderziel

Kathy Vanderziel is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in employment law. Currently serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Counsel at The Capital Group Companies, Inc., where responsibilities include providing employment advice to a global workforce of approximately 7,500 employees. Previously held the position of Assistant General Counsel at Dole Food Company, advising on labor and employment matters for a Fortune 500 firm with 45,000 employees. Prior to that, Kathy was an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, specializing in employment litigation and traditional labor law. Additionally, served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley.
