Matt O'Connor

Matt O'Connor is the current Chair & CEO of American Funds Distributors at Capital Group. Prior to this, they worked at Putnam Investments from January 1993 to October 2008, where they held the position of Business Development.

Matt O'Connor has a MBA in Finance from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Saint Anselm College.

Matt O'Connor reports to Tim Armour, Chairman & CEO. They are on a team with Jody Jonsson - Portfolio Manager, Mike Gitlin - Head of Fixed Income & Global Trading, and Noriko Chen - Portfolio Manager.
