Alvin Vitangcol

Alvin Vitangcol has 20 years of experience in venture capital and investment banking transactions. Mr. Vitangcol currently serves on the board for CMF’s investments in AIQ Solutions, enosix, Health Scholars, Light Guide Systems, SeaStar Medical, and ThirdPartyTrust, and as a board observer for SkySpecs and SteamChain. He also served as a board director for Sierra Oncology (NASDAQ: SRRA) [fka ProNAi Therapeutics (NASDAQ: DNAI)]. Previously as part of Einhorn Associates, he was the primary analyst for a number of M&A transactions and private placements, including the financing of Fulcrum Pharmaceuticals, which merged with Ception Therapeutics, and was subsequently acquired by Cephalon for $350 million with additional potential milestone payments. Mr. Vitangcol’s education includes an MS in Management (emphasis in eBusiness) with honors from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, a BS in Sociology with honors from Andrews University, and a diverse educational background including minors in chemistry, math, and computer science.
