Padmaraj Nair

Padmaraj Nair, Ph.D., CISSP, serves as the Director of Cloud Security Architecture at Capital One, focusing on cloud, container, DevOps security, GenAI, and supply chain security since 2021. Padmaraj has been an Adjunct Professor at Southern Methodist University, teaching graduate-level networking and security courses since 2008. Nair is also involved in academia as Associate Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Computer Science and Security and as an editorial board member for the Ubiquitous Computing and Communication Journal. Previously, Nair held roles at Bank of America as Vice President of Security Architecture and Assistant Vice President of Global Network and Infrastructure Solutions. Nair's experience includes working as Project Technical Lead at Fujitsu and various technical roles at Audio Web Access, Alcatel-Lucent, and Southern Methodist University. Nair holds a Ph.D. and an MS in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University and has a background in research, development, and education in computer science.
