Zac Howland

Zac Howland is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in team leadership and software development. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Capital One since October 2024, Zac previously held similar managerial roles at Swisslog, overseeing software development in the Customer Service department for North America and implementing Agile methodologies to successfully deliver projects for over 30 clients. Zac's rich background includes program and project management at Booz Allen Hamilton, leading cross-functional teams to develop software solutions for various US Government departments, and earlier positions encompassing software engineering leadership for organizations supporting the US Navy. Zac holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Business Management from Old Dominion University.
