Sumit Gera

Sumit Gera is a seasoned professional in real estate investment and management, currently serving as CEO of CapitaLand's India Business Parks since March 2016. With a strong background at Ascendas-Singbridge Group, Sumit has held various leadership roles including Head of Portfolio Management for Ascendas India Trust and India Head for Investments and Capital Partners. Prior to this, Sumit was Vice President at Partners Group AG, focusing on real estate private equity across India, Australia, and pan-Asia. Early career experience includes a summer internship at ICICI Bank in Singapore and an analytical role at McKinsey & Company. Sumit's academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from the National University of Singapore, participation in the Chazen International MBA Exchange Program at Columbia Business School, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
