Lyle Guay has extensive work experience in the field of electrical and instrumentation. Lyle has worked in various companies and roles, showcasing their expertise in project management, commissioning, and coordination.

Lyle started their career in 2012 at Bantrel as a C&SU Electrical, where they collected data and provided direction for system scoping and commissioning. Lyle also developed schedules, inspections, tests, and procedures while training co-workers.

In 2014, Lyle worked at Magna Electric Corp. as a Project Coordinator, where they demonstrated their organizational skills in managing projects.

Lyle then joined Shell as Quest/Turn Around Electrical, and later joined Fluor Fort Hills Project as Electrical Energization. In both roles, Lyle ensured safe and streamlined energization of electrical equipment. Lyle also collected and analyzed data to provide advice for commissioning and improvements.

Lyle's experience at Canada Training Group as an Instructor allowed him to share their knowledge and expertise with others.

In 2017, Lyle worked at Fluor Corporation as an EIA Pre-Comm Coordinator, where they ensured the acceptability of electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment for operation. Lyle also developed a safe energization plan and coordinated vendor support.

At Bombardier, Lyle worked in Commissioning, further enhancing their skills in this area.

In 2021, Lyle joined Fluor as an Instruments, Controls & Electrical Turn Around Coordinator, contributing their expertise to the coordination of turnaround projects.

Lyle's most recent experience includes working at CENTURION CANADA INFRASTRUCTURE INC as a Heater Tech. and currently at Capital Power as a member of the Project Management Team E&I.

Throughout their career, Lyle Guay has consistently demonstrated their ability to work in diverse roles and successfully manage projects in electrical and instrumentation.

Lyle Guay attended the Canadian Forces School of Communication and Electronic Engineering in Kingston, Ontario from 1980 to 1987. Lyle obtained a degree in Nav-Aids Tech. and studied electronics, radar, and computers during their time at the school.
