P.eng Dean Colgan

Dean Colgan, P.Eng has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dean started their career in 1997 as a Process Control Specialist at Weldwood of Canada. In 1998, they joined EPCOR as a Plant Engineer and held various roles such as Construction Contractor Administrator, Process Improvement Coordinator, and Reliability Engineer. Dean served as a Supervisor for E&I Maintenance and later as the Supervisor for Engineering at EPCOR. In 2009, Dean joined Capital Power Corporation as the Portfolio Manager for Sustaining Capital Projects and later transitioned into the role of Project Engineer. Dean then became a Project Manager and currently serves as the Development Project Engineer at Capital Power Corporation. Overall, Dean Colgan, P.Eng has demonstrated expertise in engineering, project management, and portfolio management throughout their career.

Dean Colgan, P.Eng pursued their education in Electrical Engineering at the University of Alberta from 1991 to 1996. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
