Johan McDonald

Johan McDonald serves as the Chief Information Officer for Capitec Life and Product Head for Shared Services Data & Data Integration at Capitec Bank, where responsibilities include building finance integration and overseeing SAP interfaces. Johan's extensive experience includes significant leadership positions at Standard Bank Group, where roles encompassed Head of FX Operations and IT for Retail Equities, as well as project management for group-wide Basel II initiatives. Prior to these roles, Johan managed data solutions at Sybase Africa and served as a consultant and lecturer in the field of information systems and computer science. Johan holds a B.Sc. Hons. and B.Sc. in Information Systems from the University of Johannesburg.
