Lucas Akin

Lucas Akin has extensive work experience in the IT field. Lucas started their career as an IT Technical Support Analyst at Security Benefit in December 2005 and held this role until October 2009. From October 2009 to May 2014, Lucas worked as a System Administrator at Westar Energy. Lucas then joined FHLBank Topeka as an IT System Administrator 2, where they worked from May 2014 to August 2016. After that, Lucas worked at Stormont Vail Health, first as a Data Storage Administrator from August 2016 to March 2019, and then as a Systems Engineering Manager from March 2019 to May 2022. Currently, Lucas is a Senior LAN Administrator at Capitol Federal Savings Bank, a position they have held since May 2022.

Lucas Akin attended Allen Community College from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Afterward, they enrolled at Baker University from 2013 to 2015 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their formal education, Lucas also obtained a CompTIA A+ certification in August 2010 from CompTIA.
