Natalie Haag currently serves as General Counsel, Executive Vice President, and Corporate Secretary at Capitol Federal® Savings Bank, a position held since August 2012. Previously, Haag held the role of 2nd Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, and Director of Governmental Affairs at Security Benefit, where responsibilities included providing legal advice on various issues and engaging in governmental affairs. Earlier experience includes serving as General Counsel, Director of Governmental Affairs, and Chief of Staff for former Kansas Governor Bill Graves, as well as executive roles in other legal and governmental settings, including the Board of Indigent Defense Services and the City of Wichita. Haag began a legal career in civil litigation and prosecution, holding associate attorney positions and working as a prosecutor in Cowley County and Wichita. Education credentials include a Doctor of Law degree from Washburn University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University.
