Janelle Gomez

Janelle Gomez is an experienced educator and business leader with a strong background in mathematics, reading intervention, and academic support. Currently serving as a Math Teacher at Capitol Hill Day School since August 2021, Janelle also functions as the CEO and Lead Academic Interventionist at Flux Learning LLC, a position held since May 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Reading Specialist / Interventionist at Leading and Learning Inc. and as an Elementary School Teacher at Coconut Grove Montessori School. Janelle's expertise encompasses curriculum planning, delivering targeted instruction, conducting assessments, and fostering student engagement. In addition to teaching, Janelle has a background in editorial work as an Editor for Adept Magazine and has served in various instructional capacities at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. Janelle holds a Graduate Certificate in Dyslexia Assessment and Intervention from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University.
