Brittany Carrier

Language Arts Teacher at Capitol Region Education Council

Brittany Carrier is an experienced educator currently serving as a Language Arts Teacher at CREC since August 2018, where lesson plans are developed based on the Reader’s Workshop model to foster life-long reading habits among students. Brittany also plays a vital role in professional development, focusing on innovative teaching strategies. Additionally, Brittany is an Associate Education Manager and Touring Company Member at Sea Tea Improv, contributing to educational programming since June 2017. Previous teaching experiences include long-term substitute teaching at Wethersfield High School and Pulaski Middle School, as well as roles in summer camps where engaging educational activities were implemented. Brittany holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Saint Joseph and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from the University of Connecticut.
