Gihad Sohsah

Gihad Sohsah has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Gihad started their career in 2008 as a Secretary at IEEE TSB, where they organized executive committee meetings. In 2010, they worked as a Trainee at the University of Nizwa, Oman. From 2012 to 2014, Gihad worked as a Teaching Assistant at Tanta University, teaching various computer science courses and conducting labs. In 2014, they became a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at İstanbul Şehir Üniversitesi, where they conducted lab sessions and worked on interdisciplinary data analysis projects. Gihad then joined Menta Technology W.L.L in 2017 as a Natural Language Processing Specialist, conducting research in Arabic natural language processing. Gihad worked on machine learning and deep learning algorithms and developed prototypes. In 2019, Gihad joined BlackStone eIT as a Lead Artificial Intelligence Engineer, a role they held until 2022. Gihad then moved on to Cassbana as a Lead Data Scientist, a position they held until joining Capoom in 2023 as a Chief Technology Officer. Gihad is also a member of IEEE since 2009.

Gihad Sohsah completed a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Istanbul Şehir University from the years 2014 to 2016. Gihad also obtained a Diploma in Game Development from iTi during the academic year 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Automatic Control from Tanta University between 2007 and 2011. Additionally, in 2009 to 2010, they attended Nizwa University, but no degree or field of study information is available for this time period.

In terms of certifications, Gihad obtained three additional certifications in 2022: "Grokking the Machine Learning Interview" from Educative, Inc. in July, "Grokking the Behavioral Interview" from Educative, Inc. in June, and "Machine Learning System Design" also from Educative, Inc. in May.
