Minghao Sun has extensive work experience in various roles and companies.
From 2021 to the present, Sun works as the Vice President of Research & Product Development at Capricor Therapeutics, where they are responsible for leading all product development activities, overseeing research and process development, and managing CMC aspects related to the SteachX Vaccine program.
Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, Sun served as the Senior Director of R&D at Capricor Therapeutics, where they led the development of Capricor's engineered exosomes & RNA therapeutic platform, coordinated R&D activities, and collaborated with various teams.
From 2020 to 2021, Sun held the position of Senior Director and Head of In Vitro Pharmacology at WuXi AppTec's Research Service Division. They were responsible for leading the in vitro pharmacology department, managing R&D and operations, and achieving significant revenue growth.
In 2019, Sun joined Trans Ova Genetics as the Director of Stem cell R&D. They were responsible for establishing and managing the San Diego stem cell R&D facility, executing tech transfer, and acting as a program manager and site administrator.

Additionally, they also obtained a Master's degree in Medical Virology from Wuhan University, completing their studies from 1999 to 2002.
