Segun Dada

Segun Dada has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Segun is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Capsa Technology Inc. Prior to this, they served as an Advisory Board Member at The Green Investment Club.

Segun also held various roles at Baker Hughes, starting as a Commercial Excellence Leader for Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Segun then took on the role of Commercial Operations & Proposals Lead before becoming the Senior Sales Manager, Channels for the SSA region. In these positions, Segun was responsible for developing and managing alternate distribution channels, contracts management, and coordinating commercial initiatives.

Before joining Baker Hughes, Segun worked at GE in several roles, including SSA Commercial Integration Co-Lead, Commercial Excellence Leader, Business Operations Manager, Commercial Operations Manager, Sales and Marketing Specialist, and Sales & Marketing Analyst.

Earlier in their career, Segun served as an Intern at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.

In 2006, Segun founded and served as the CEO of SLM Services until 2009.

Segun Dada has a strong educational background in business and computer engineering. Segun obtained their BEng. in Computer Engineering from Covenant University, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Following that, they pursued an MBA degree in Business at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, from 2011 to 2013.

In 2021, Segun furthered their education by completing the CORe: Credential of Readiness program offered by Harvard Business School Online.

Additionally, Segun Dada has obtained two certifications: "Leading with Emotional Intelligence" and "Risk-Taking for Leaders" from LinkedIn, which they received in December 2020.
