Kelly Rotstan, PhD, currently serves as a Scientist at Capsida Biotherapeutics, where responsibilities include conducting in-depth experimentation to enhance the capsid engineering platform and managing the capsid engineering team, leading to significant process improvements. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Chemist at Behr Paint Company, Kelly formulated new products, improved paint rheology, and collaborated on technology advancements, while also contributing to an innovation committee and co-writing an Innovation Grant. Academic research experience includes discovering the first photo-induced riboswitch at UC Irvine and conducting genetic studies at the University of Puget Sound. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from UC Irvine and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Puget Sound.
