Corby Simpson

Corby Simpson has extensive experience in the technology and media industry. Corby worked as the Chief Technology Officer at CAPSULE Media, where they led the development and delivery of infrastructure and related products. Corby'sresponsibilities included managing staff, contractors, and vendor relationships, as well as meeting with investors and pitching ideas. Corby also worked on developing a custom software application for tracking content.

Prior to that, Corby engaged in freelance and contract work, providing a range of services in UX, digital strategy, web design, and development. Corby worked directly with clients and agencies, conducted user interviews, and created prototypes.

Corby was also the Director of User Experience and Design at Whatever Solutions & Media Inc., where they developed web and multimedia content, online marketing, and social media connections for various clients. Corby also handled visual design for notable brands such as Mazda, OHL, Parks Canada, and more.

Throughout their career, Corby has held positions at Georgian College as a part-time instructor and has worked at companies like New Angle Communications Inc., Triangle Media Inc., and Creative Post Inc., where they played key roles in leading interactive design, development, and programming projects for clients.

Corby Simpson began their education in 1997 at Sheridan College, where they earned a Diploma with Honours in Media Arts. They continued their education at Sheridan College from 2001 to 2002, obtaining a Post Graduate Certificate with Honours in Interactive Multimedia. In 2008, Corby completed a short program in Home Electronics and Integration Systems at Fleming College. Their most recent education was from 2014 to 2017 at The Interaction Design Foundation, where they studied User Experience. No degree was specified for this program.
