Jessica Serrao

Jessica Serrao is a Senior Data Scientist at Philips Capsule since August 2020, where responsibilities include advanced data analysis. Previously, Jessica held the position of Data Scientist at UConn Research from September 2018 to May 2020, focusing on health behaviors among middle schoolers and presenting findings on food security to local teams. Experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant includes promoting healthy eating through surveys and contributing to a systematic review on gaming interventions. Additional internships include work at Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, improving user interfaces and conducting audits, and at Massachusetts General Hospital, analyzing imaging trends and assisting in the preparation of scientific manuscripts. Jessica holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Biomedical Sciences from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Connecticut.
