Ryan Perera

Ryan Perera has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ryan co-founded Captain.AI in 2016 and served as the CEO. Prior to that, they were the co-founder and CEO of Henchman from 2014 to 2017. In 2012, Ryan co-founded SkillFlick, an online marketplace for local services, and received the Future 50 Award for social enterprise. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Cardiothoracic Surgery Registrar at Southampton Hospital from 2009 to 2012, with expertise in Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Surgery and published research papers. From 2001 to 2011, they worked as a Director and Music Producer at On The Roof Entertainment, collaborating with artists and performing as an opening DJ for international concerts in SriLanka. Ryan also worked as a London Surgical Trainee from 2005 to 2009. Overall, Ryan Perera has demonstrated leadership and entrepreneurial skills in various roles throughout their career.

Ryan Perera attended St Pauls School until 1999. Ryan then went on to study Medicine at Barts and the London Medical School from 1999 to 2005.
