Bibu George has extensive work experience in the field of quality control, regulatory affairs, and technical operations. Bibu is currently the Vice President of Quality, Regulatory and Technical Operations at CAPTEK® Softgel International. In this role, they are responsible for evaluating and improving all activities related to quality control, regulatory affairs, and technical operations. Previously, they held positions such as Sr. Director of Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, Technical Services and Technology Transfer, Senior Director of Technical Services and Technology Transfer, Director of Quality Control, and Quality Control Manager at the same company.
Bibu George also has experience outside of CAPTEK® Softgel International. Bibu worked as an Advisory Board Member at Cerritos College and as a member of the Technical Committee at GOED Omega-3. Prior to that, they were the Quality Control Manager at Paragon Laboratories, where they oversaw quality control functions and tasks to ensure compliance with cGMP.
Before their industry experience, Bibu George worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University, where they conducted research on pretreatment methods for wood biomass. Bibu also worked as a Research Fellow at the Rubber Research Institute of India, where they developed methods for DNA marker analysis. Additionally, they served as a Guest Faculty at CMS College.
Bibu George earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Forest Sciences and Biology from West Virginia University in the years 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2002, they completed a Master of Science in Botany at Mahatma Gandhi University.
