Philip Smith

Philip Smith has been with CAPTEL since December 1997, currently serving as President and CEO. Prior to this, they worked as Finance Director at the National Republican Senatorial Committee from January 1995 to January 1997. Their experience also includes serving as Vice President at Dole Food Company from January 1989 to December 1992, and as Executive Finance Director at the Republican National Committee from January 1980 to December 1989. They holds a MA in International Affairs from The George Washington University (1977) and a BA in Government and History from Centre College (1975).
