Andi Scarcello

Andi Scarcello has a diverse work experience in the software development field. They started their career as an Information Security IT Intern at Costco Wholesale in 2015, where they initiated security assessments for service providers and maintained a master list of vendors. In 2016, Andi worked as a Risk Database Intern at Verus Investments, where they developed a data validation tool and optimized database queries. They then joined Denison University as a Computer Science Tutor and held various roles, including President of the Big Red Fitness Club and Freshmen Orientation Leader. Andi then worked at Rogue Fitness as an Application Development Intern and later joined Facilities Management eXpress, LLC as a Software Developer, where they designed integrations with scheduling software and developed features using the full .NET stack. They continued to gain experience at Aware as a Software Engineer II, contributing to the creation and launch of an AI-Infused SaaS application and leading Slack integration efforts. Andi also worked at Mathnasium of Bonney Lake as an Administrator before joining BlueHalo as a Software Engineer and subsequently transitioning to Caption Health as a Software Developer in 2022. Andi's work at Aware involved building integrations with Google Drive, Zoom Meetings, and Webex, scaling the application for increased customer usage, and improving efficiency through caching.
