Michael Kingston

Michael Kingston has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Michael is currently working at Captivate, LLC, where they started as the Director of Global Content in April 2022 and later promoted to Head of Global Content in April 2023. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2022, they worked as an Independent Consultant. In the past, they held various roles at Corus Entertainment, starting as a Programming Coordinator in 2004 and progressing to positions such as Programming Manager, Manager of Program Rights, Manager of Programming & Acquisitions, and Director of Content Acquisitions. Michael also worked as a Tape Room Supervisor at AXYZ Post Production from 2002 to 2004. Throughout their career, they have been involved in content acquisitions, program management, scheduling, negotiations, and rights management.

Michael Kingston attended Ryerson University from 1998 to 2002. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Applied Arts (BAA) degree in the field of Radio and Television Arts during this time.
