Bob Luddy is the Founder and President of CaptiveAire Systems, established in 1976, which is the leading manufacturer of commercial kitchen ventilation equipment and an emerging manufacturer of HVAC equipment, recognized for innovation and reliability in service. Additionally, Bob Luddy founded and serves as Chairman for Thales Academy since 2007, offering a rigorous college preparatory education across multiple locations in North Carolina, and for St. Thomas More Academy since 2002, a classical Catholic high school emphasizing character and faith. Furthermore, Bob Luddy is the Founder and Chairman of Franklin Academy Charter School, one of North Carolina's oldest charter schools, focusing on quality education and character development. Bob Luddy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from La Salle University from 1963 to 1967.
