Nick Furbish

Nick Furbish currently serves as a Technical Sales professional at CaptiveAire Systems, a role assumed in July 2023. Previously, Nick held various positions at Virgin Orbit from June 2021 to May 2023, including Supply Chain Category Manager for the LauncherOne program, where responsibilities included sourcing equipment and managing complex purchase requests, and Commodities Specialist, focusing on procurement activities for the same program. Prior to Virgin Orbit, Nick worked at System Technical Corporation as a Project Manager and Project Coordinator, overseeing manufacturing contracts and production schedules for defense projects. Nick contributed as a Propulsions Engineer for the SDSU Rocket Project, specializing in rocket engine design, and served as an Alumni Engagement Officer for the SDSU Research Foundation, promoting alumni involvement and donations. Nick earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from San Diego State University in 2019, following a high school education at Santa Margarita High School.
