Payal Patel

Payal Patel has worked in the IT industry since 2005. Payal started their career as a Software Developer at Rigel Networks, working on design, development and testing for various ASP. net based applications. In 2008, they began working as a Freelance Web Developer. In 2012, they worked as a Software Developer at Plonka Interactive, where they were involved in design, development, testing and publishing for various iOS apps, .net web applications and Android apps. In 2013, they worked as an Application Programmer at Overall Parts Solutions, where they worked on WCF Web Services, ASP.net, Android SDK and Eclipse. Later that year, they worked as a Software Engineer at CloudLogix, working on design, development and testing for complex data driven .net web applications. From 2014 to 2020, they worked as a Sr Software Developer at Greyhound Lines, Inc., where they worked on analysis, design and development for Greyhound customer facing sites for ticket booking and tour packages reservation. In 2020, they began working as a Technical Lead/DevOps at Car Capital Technologies, Inc., where they were responsible for engineering, design and sustainment of the organization's Azure platform, including Azure AD and Azure AD B2C. Payal also established CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions for custom components developed.

Payal Patel has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics(Electronics) from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University and a MS in Computer Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University, obtained between 2010 and 2012. Payal also holds several certifications from Microsoft and PCI DSS Training - Greyhound, including a Corporate Information Security Awareness (obtained in August 2015), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) (obtained in November 2020), AZ-400 DevOps Engineering for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer for Azure Expert, and Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org.
