Nilam Shah

Nilam (Dhanani) Shah is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in clinical research and development. Currently serving as Vice President, Clinical Research and Development at Cara Therapeutics, Nilam has held various senior roles, including Executive Director and Senior Director in the same field. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Amgen and Celgene included positions as Principal Clinical Research Scientist, alongside leadership roles at Merck and Merck (formerly Schering-Plough) in global safety and pharmacovigilance. Nilam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Rutgers University and the University of Pittsburgh.
