Francesco De Stefano

Co-Founder and CEO at Caracol AM

Francesco De Stefano has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a Sailing Instructor and Marketing Promoter at Valtur S.p.A. In 2014, they worked as a Financial Analyst Intern at BT Global Services. The following year, they participated in an In-Company Training program at the European Central Bank, where they received on-the-field training in Economics and worked on solving real issues. In 2015, they worked as a M&A - Transaction Services Consulting Intern at PwC Advisory and as a Project Manager at 3NTA - Learning from students. From 2016 to 2019, they joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as an Associate, where they worked on various projects, including devising an industry strategy for a global tire manufacturer, implementing a turnaround program for an Aerospace and Defense conglomerate, and developing product portfolio strategies for a global truck, agro machinery, and diesel engine manufacturer. Most recently, in 2018, they co-founded Caracol AM and became the CEO.

Francesco De Stefano has a strong educational background, with various degrees and certifications. Francesco obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia Business School in 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Masters in Management at London Business School from 2015 to 2016. Francesco also holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration and Management from Università Bocconi, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015.

During their studies, Francesco participated in an exchange program at San Diego State University in 2014, where they focused on International Business. Before entering university, they completed their high school education at Liceo Ginnasio Dante Alighieri, where they obtained their High School Diploma with a focus on Humanistic Studies.

In addition to their degrees, Francesco has also earned a certification in GMAT, scoring 750 (98th percentile) with a strong performance in the Quantitative and Verbal sections. The certification was obtained from the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) in May 2018.
