Maryann Choi, MD, MPH, MS, CMD has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Maryann is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Caraday Healthcare since 2020. Prior to this, they held the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer at Collain Healthcare from October 2013 to August 2019. In this role, they developed and implemented Collain's go-to-market strategy and oversaw R&D and product development roadmaps. Maryann also served as the CEO of AmkoHealthcare, INC from April 2012 to August 2013. Earlier in their career, they were the Chief Medical Officer and Corporate Medical Director at Harden Healthcare, LLC from October 2005 to March 2012, where they provided medical and strategic leadership. Maryann also founded several Harden continuum entities. Additionally, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Sunstar Geriatrics Healthcare, P.A. from June 2005 to March 2010, where they created an innovative post-acute, home-based care, house call model. This model became the largest group of its kind in Texas and was subsequently acquired by Harden Healthcare. Maryann Choi, MD, MPH, MS, CMD has a Masters in Public Health from the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Public Health. Maryann also holds a Medical Degree from Hanyang University and a Masters in Computer Science from Hofstra University. Additionally, they are certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine by the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Board Certified in Geriatrics by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and holds certifications in Internal Medicine and Medical Director in Long Term Care (CMD).
